    questions about trunk swaping

    i found some one who wants to trunk swap, now my lock do you take that out to, if so how, or do you just go get a key made to unlock eachothers trunks, and also how do the torsion rods come out and how hard is it to do that, thanks for help

    You can take the lock out. I'm unsure of how to do it have you Google it ? Also if you don't you can always use the trunk release from in the car.

    i've had cars when i snapped that cable, and also broke the lock cuz some *** wipe decided to try to break into it

    If I remember correctly its just held in with a horseshoe looking clip and a rod conected to it. I think the only tool really needed is a flat bladed screwdriver.

    i just swapped trunks back to stock, but i got my stock trunk off of a wrecked STI, so no keys were available. latch DOES infact work though. you need to go to subaru, and they can take your vin and order you a new lock for the trunk so your key will work.
