I'm the owner of an 05 STi with a leaky power steering pump. It leaks out of the back, drips on the turbo & makes a stanky white smoke come out of my scoop. My buddy/neighborhood mechanic has an 04 wrx power steering pump laying around & says it can be mine, installed, for the low low price of only $20.00 American.
Yes or no? People smarter than me, answer it up please. If you don't know, at least post a funny cat picture or something.
Yes, fixing the leak is the goal. The wrx pump happens to be laying around unused. That's a lot cheaper than a new pump.
