I'd go with silicone personally. Less heat absorption ? Besides, I dislike shiny things

Silicone FTW. Like JAC stated less heat transfer it is easier to manipulate when installing/removing more resistant to temperature differential expansion and contraction.

I still say metal pipe is the best. The silicon does not get as hot at the aluminum can yes, but after the silicon heats up it has a tendency to soften and expand like a balloon if you wich which creates improper pressure for what the ecm thinks it is according to maf readings. In other words the intake is not getting the correct pressure that the maf thinks it is. My buddy had fully Perrin silicone and is running around 400whp and kept having problems tuning. Then he switched to aluminum piping and he problems went away.

I would have to agree, that logic is sound. (geez, I sound like Spock) However, I think if hes stock its not gonna matter, and I think silicone will be ok up to 300+ personally.

You have to consider that quality woven layer silicon hoses are rated for high heat and wont balloon like mentioned. I agree that the silicon TMIC is the way to go. There are kits available for this in various colors. Let us know if we can help with anything.

Sorry guys not trying to be an ******* but I disagree with silicone. I feel its only good up to 350whp. My buddy used PERRIN.... last time I checked they don't make cheap ****.
