    Question 2.5 turbo/ oil changes.

Just a quick question, but I use Royal purple synthetic oil in my 2010 Subaru forester 2.5 turbo and Royal purple states that you can go 10-12,000 mile oil changes with their oil. So, just wanna know if I can push my oil changes to at least 10k, since Royal purple is expensive and top notch oil?

I wouldn't, oil changes are key to turbo life, yes the oil may maintain its properties but its all the contaminants from the combustion process that hurt the turbo, engine, etc.

    I don't go past 5k myself.
