    It does look good. I'm not looking for a new Subaru, but it is disappointing no manual transmission is offered. I have to admit, being that the fuel economy is better with the CVT I certainly would consider the CVT given the choice.

    I agree I feel sad that there are few manual transmissions offered anymore. But the better mpg rating would definitely be a bonus to the cvt if I drove a normal commute every day lol

    I understand. I could guess from your username you like manuals too! I drive a vehicle with a CVT for work. Many find them objectionable, it's fine by me. It certainly does return good mpgs. I really like that at 65mph, the 4 cylinder engine is only turning at 2000 rpm. I always look forward to driving the Forester with the manual though. Glad to see at least for 2014 the Forester is available with a 6 speed manual, although only on the base model.

    Oh I love manuals. I would rather not ever own an auto tragic lol.
