Struts or Springs?

I really need help trying to figure out why my 2007 Impreza 2.5i have hardly any gap between the tire and body of my car when the front has a huge one... I have pictures to show what I am talking about just don't know how to show everyone... Anyways I have had the car since Feb 28,2011 and I have never done anything with the struts or shocks/springs.... The car is coming up on 80,000 miles.... Someone please message me if you have any idea on how I can go about fixing the problem and what parts I should use...

Havou noticed a difference in ride quality since you have noticed visual since. Does it recover well after hitting bumbs in the road? Have you hit any major bumps?

From our discussions it sounds like struts. They are most likely factory.
