    DIY: De-badging

This is a simple guide on how to debadge your trunk.
Note: The pictures I have used are not mine, I do not have any rights over them. I am not responsible for any damage done to your vehicle.

    Skill level: 1/5
    Time Needed: 10-20 min

    Tools:

    -Fishing wire or dental floss
-Heat gun (you dont need this if your car has been in the sun for a few hours.)
    -Adhesive remover
    -Paper towels and water

Step 1: The first thing you have got to do is clean the area where you will be doing the de-badging.

Step 2: Use the dental floss and try to get it under a corner of any of the letter and slowly, using an up and down motion go though the badge. *Make sure not to break any of the lettering, by going to fast or pulling out (towards you) while doing the up and down motion.* By the up down motion, I mean use it like a saw.

Step 2 (With Heat gun): Make sure you do not apply too much heat or it will ruin your paint, do it enough just make the badge wiggle a bit.

    After removing badge:

    Step 3:
Before you use any adhesive remover, try to get most of the residue of with your finger by rubbing it.

Step 4: Use adhesive remover to get all the remaining adhesive off.

i found that the fishing line works better than floss. floss broke way to much. switched to fishing line and went much faster...
