I was looking into making my own mud flaps for my car, since i am not excited to drop 150 bucks or more on some decent ones.

I've seen, IKEA cutting boards used, Trash cans, Semi Trailer Flaps, etc.

But I want a flap that resembles the Rally-Tech ones, made from PVC.
I was searching around the "interweb" lol looking for PVC sheets for sale.
I found an Acrylic-PVC alloy called Kydex, used mainly in the making of gun holsters, and knife sheaths.
I really liked the Polar digital camo pattern on this.

I just have a few concerns/questions...
-Has anyone purchased the Rally-tech PVC mud flap, what are your thoughts on durability, appearance.
-Would the polar digital Kydex sheets of PVC be too rigid for a mud flap?

A representative from interstate plastics emailed me back about my concerns, saying that he was unsure if the sheets were thick enough to be rigid for a mudflap. but dont you want a mud flap with some flex to it?

Thanks guys
