i have been told inorder to change the color of your gauges you need to take it apart sand it down and color it has anyone tried using a color gel pad like they use for concerts???? i need answers asap because i'm doing this today

i cnt find the gel sheets so after i locate them then i can do it
I'm not sure this applies but I did something similar on my 240. I wanted to change the color of my indicator lights to purple to contrast the blue color gauges... I sanded them and just replaced the bulbs with purple LED's. Perhaps you could do the same.Quote:
