Replacement blower motors keeps blowing fuse
I'm on my third blower motor within a week, second brand. For some reason my replacement blower motors keep blowing the fuse. I figured the first two motors were crap so I paid for a nice, expensive third. That one also blew the fuse. I should note, the original motor still works and does not blow the fuse— it was only replaced because a bad bearing was making it sound horrible.
Suggestions?

Did you check with Subaru on how much a stock motor is?

Yes, it's twice the price. I'm wondering if it's just a transistor issue.

Subaru is $170 but the metal one normally carried by NAPA (made by Four Seasons http://ecatalog.smpcorp.com/FS/#/veh...m/76902?type=s is available online for $54.
